Session A: Building Relationships Between P-12 and Higher Education
Participants will explore and examine the challenges and opportunities to develop successful relationships designed to enhance the academic success of students in P-12 and beyond
Session B: CV vs. Resume
Participants will leave this session with a true, accurate and completed CV!
Session C: Schema Conceptualization and Development
Participants will have an opportunity to create their own schema under the guidance of seminal researchers such as Dr. Donna Y. Ford.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Robbie K. Melton (Online Resources: Merlot II)
Dr. Robbie K. Melton is a tenured full professor at Tennessee State University. Melton formally served for twenty years as the chief administrator for the Tennessee Board of Regents' (6th largest system for higher education in USA, 2016) for overseeing the vision, mission, and initiatives for the Strategic Planning for Emerging Mobile Smart “The Internet of Everything” (IOE) Technologies for Global Education".

Session A: Publish Not Perish
Participants will gain an understanding various aspect of writing for tenure, scholarship and consultation opportunities.
Session B: Writing for Journals
Participants will learn how to target specific journals in their fields of study, how to develop a strategy by which to approach journals for possible publication, have understanding of the various tiers of journals for publication and much more.
Session C: Promotion and Tenure
Participants will leave with understanding of the various processes by which to gain a promotion or earn tenure.
Session D: Consulting and Presenting
Participants will gain an understanding of how to become high demand educational consultants through their research and scholarship content.

Session A: Dissertation Process: ABD is Not a Degree!
Participants will come to understand the conceptualization, purpose and content for each chapter, determining the research methodology, data analysis, and publishing from your dissertation.
