Dear Black Men,
I know this does not erase the decades of hurt and pain you have endured being misjudged, marginalized, harmed and killed.
Dear Black Men,
I know this does not begin to penetrate the edge of your courage that has been flattened, curbed and derailed.
Dear Black Men,
I know this does not restore your freedom, confidence and prominence that has been consistently denied and disturbed.
But... my Dear Black Men,
I hope you saw a sliver of hope that we will not stop fighting for you, we will not stop loving you and we will not stop calling out those that seek to harm and kill you. For you will always be— A King.
