Dr. Mike Robinson: Are you in favor of schools restarting in-person learning before the summer begins?
LaMarcus J. Hall: No! We barely have a hold on COVID -A & strand B is already in the air.
Dr. Mike Robinson: What benefits are there for students, in your opinion for students relative to in-person learning?
LaMarcus J. Hall: Socialized and intellectual challenge is what keeps us all sharp. However, life is more important than sitting in an at-risk school building.
Dr. Mike Robinson: Do you believe that all was done or could have been done to make distance learning more effective for students?
LaMarcus J. Hall: No! I can personally attest. The wealthy hire teachers to come to a designated spot to teach their kids. The poor are left to take their kids to school to make ends meet. They call America separate but equal. We were bought here unequal, and many of us will leave the same, unfortunately.
Dr. Mike Robinson: Are schools the only way for students to have socialization that can benefit? Should schools reopen if all teachers have not received the vaccination?
LaMarcus J. Hall: No! Parents need to be more involved in their kid's lives. Such as creating an education platform for them to succeed by any means necessary.
Dr. Mike Robinson: Should schools reopen if all teachers have not received the vaccination?
LaMarcus J. Hall: No. No vaccine...no entrance. No one is safe until this pandemic is gone.
Dr. Mike Robinson: Do you think students do not take distance learning as seriously as they should because they hear adults say it is not working?
LaMarcus J. Hall: It depends on parents' expectations. If a child did not give a damn before the pandemic with no parental expectation, they would care even less now. This is the perfect opportunity for minds to be idle, which will continue to expand the academic achievement and Race gap.
Dr. Mike Robinson: If schools are considered the HUB of their community and the community is high exposure to COVID, should schools reopen in-person learning?
LaMarcus J. Hall: No! Stay home and govern yourselves accordingly.
