Q. How is your work changing the narrative?
Mothers of Black Boys, Inc. is a membership-based, nonprofit organization that has established three signature programs to address the needs of Black males in pertinent areas of life. The focus on the early childhood and adolescent years, and with an intervention component for parents. Another avenue of changing the narrative of Black males implemented by MOBB, Inc. is our Man to Man Town Halls. The town halls are hosted by the Community Leaders Coalition, a subsidiary of MOBB, Inc., whereby partnerships with other prominent and notable organizations collaborate to address the needs of Black males in our communities. The Man to Man Town Halls are for men only, where young and older men combine in open dialogue and candid conversations about the ills facing Black males. MOBB, Inc. is committed to altering the image of Black males and creating opportunities that will enhance their quality of life.
