FOTRP: What would you describe as the benefits of joining a fraternity or sorority?
Jacquelyn Malone: I believe there are two benefits of being a member of a sorority. They are the social and professional networking opportunities created by becoming a part of a massive network of like-minded individuals. Joining a Greek organization during college opens the door to new friendships that often last a lifetime. Many fraternities and sororities are founded on the principles of community service. Volunteering your time as a member of a Greek organization can often lead to employment and or professional networking.
FOTRP: Please tell us about your background?
Jacquelyn Malone: I am a 1979 graduate of Toulminville High School in Mobile Alabama. I received my BA Degree from the University of South Alabama. I am also a retired Social Worker and active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
