On March 30, 2013, Forest Of The Rain Productions in partnership with the Lovely Ladies of Laurel will host a candid conversation on the importance of creating effective partnerships with parents as a means to drive student achievement and to transform public schools.
Two panels of emerging and renown educators, researchers, scholars, civic stakeholders and community leaders will provide their views of the present and future role of parents in public education.
When you examine student achievement, education reform, educational advocacy and school partnerships, there is a role for parents. High performing school districts have figured this out and are the models of academic success.
