Forest Of The Rain Productions Founder and CEO Dr. Michael A. Robinson presented two very important questions to Dr. Thom D. Chesney, president of Brookhaven College and he shared his views with us.
Dr. Mike Robinson: What drives your passion to be an advocate for quality education?
Dr. Chesney: There still exist too many disparities in access, delivery and educational attainment. Working to level the playing/learning field is amongst the most rewarding thing anyone can do.
Dr. Mike Robinson: What are a few of the educational expectations you have for the next President of the United States?
Dr. Thom D. Chesney: First, s/he must be an outspoken advocate for access and attainment, unafraid to ask how P-20 institutions will partner to reach non-consumers of education. Second, I expect the next president to spend even more time and talent on redesign and rebuilding of our nation's education systems.
