​Narrative Changers

Bio of a Narrative Changer:  A Narrative Changer is an African American leader in the areas of education, fair housing, parental/family engagement, academic research, the business of education or civic involvement.The selection of individuals as Narrative Changers is part of Living Education eMagazine's Re-Defining The Narrative Campaign. The Campaign is an effort to reset, reclaim and restore the narrative of the African American community. We began our campaign with our first ever special edition of Living Education eMagazine. In that edition, we highlighted the African American male writer. In our 2nd special edition of Living Education eMagazine we highlighted the work, research, studies, views and opinions of African American women. We continued the campaign with our Living Education: Re-Defining The Narrative Google Hangouts. These interactive live discussions focused on various aspects of fair housing, parental/family engagement, and academic research, the business of education or civic involvement. They were designed to drive the discussion in a positive direction regarding the views of the African American community.
