Dr. Benson Reid's most recent project is “Entrepreneurship 101: Effective Strategies for Living on Purpose.” Entrepreneurship 101 is a manual designed to guide you through the entrepreneurship journey. This workbook is designed to help individuals build the necessary skills to become effective leaders and entrepreneurs. Students are encouraged to consider starting a business based on their passion and purpose then create a business plan. The goal of the manual is to educate, encourage and empower by emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship and living a life of purpose.

Dr. Shanelle R. Benson Reid is the President and CEO of ACCESS Global: The Coaching and Consulting Organization. She is also the Chief Consultant at ACCESS. She is a proponent for equity and empowerment in education for students who represent diverse backgrounds and situations. Dr. Benson Reid earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) a Master’s in Education (Special Education Option) from CSUSB as well. Dr. Reid earned her Doctorate from the University of La Verne in Organizational Leadership. Her dissertation is titled A Case Study of the Historically Successful Roles of African American Teachers in Contemporary, Selected, Urban Charter Schools in New York. Dr. Benson Reid’s personal motto is “Inspire students to pursue self-discovery, empower them to be innovative, progressive, and revolutionary in thought, and motivate them to be global activists. Dr. Benson Reid’s work is changing the landscape of education by empowering individuals, families and organizations. At ACCESS, we encourage self-assessment and self-discovery while promoting innovative and progressive designs for change and implementing strategies for sustained success.
