Educational View: We All Have Choices, but Are We Ready to Accept the Consequences of the Choices We Make?
BIO: A 34 year resident of Prince George’s County, Pat Fletcher has two adult children who were educated in the Prince George’s County Public Schools; one a license Cosmetologist and a dedicated aide in the county school system, and the other a teacher in the county school system. Pat Fletcher has four grandchildren in which three are enrolled in the county schools. Ms. Fletcher has worked for 26 years as a District of Columbia Mental Health Counselor and Forensic Psychiatric Technician. She worked for 5 years as a Staff Representative and Chief Negotiator for Arbitration, Mediation and Grievances with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees – AFSCME Council 67. A community activist for many years serving on various PTA’s executive boards; she is presently Vice President of Kentland/Columbia Park Boy’s and Girls Club and serves as a member of Prince George’s County work group for Common Ownership Communities.
