Mr. Rushern L. Baker there are no words to express my disgust with the ongoing molestation of children in your school system. I no longer trust you and your personally selected CEO, Dr. Kevin Maxwell to protect children with disabilities. I hold you responsible for employees who abuse our most vulnerable children as well for the firing of employees who try to bring incidents of abuse and neglect to light.
I believe all parents should be concerned about the safety of their children. I hope Angela D. Alsobrooks, State's Attorney, Prince George's County, Maryland is positioning her office to protect these families from a public school system employing predators who are sexually targeting students. I hope our Chief of Police has formed a Task Force working to identify and convict sexual predators and any adult who has enabled this unhealthy environment to continue in OUR public school system.
If you are unable to address the conditions experienced by students with special needs, I suggest you close your specialty schools and fund the cost for parents to send their children to jurisdictions that are able to provide a safe and secure learning environment.
