What is your personal motto? I'm a work in progress
How is Your Work Changing The Narrative: Chronic and prolonged stress, fatigue, and burnout result from constantly navigating and combating structural and institutional racism. Thru a series of courses, I equip people with the tools to strengthen resilience and fortitude needed when navigating, confronting, and combating systems of oppression in today’s world. My approach combines scientifically proven techniques and practices for focusing attention, quieting the mind, and compassion-based thinking to enhance a person’s abilities in three areas: (1) The Body: Reducing the negative impacts of stress on the body and mind, (2) Relationships: Responding and rebounding from challenging social interactions, both personally and professionally; and (3) Purpose/Calling: Extending genuine concern and care to an ever widening community of people for individual and collective benefit
