Challenges for the American Public Educational Systems?
The Obama administration announced a proposal to combat the increase cost obtaining a post-secondary degree with the America’s College Promise proposal. It the President’s proposal is approved by Congress it would provide free community college education to nearly 9 million students.
The President’s plan is clearly an attempt to address an urgent challenge confronting the higher education landscape; which is how to maintain access to a quality college education when cost has become the primary deterrent to enrolling and matriculating for so many of America’s students.
The staff of Living Education eMagazine wanted to know what are a few of the other challenges threatening both the K-12 and post-secondary educational systems.
