Dr. Joseph & Shelia R. Spears are the founders and pastors of Ever Increasing Life (EILM) Maryland. Dr. Spears is a speaker, mentor, and an assistant professor of sport management at both Bowie State and Liberty Universities. At Bowie State, he also serves as Faculty Athletic Rep and Chaplain of the football team. Dr. Spears has a terminal doctoral degree in sports management and has completed both masters and undergraduate degrees in interdisciplinary studies of Christian and Higher Education.
Shelia R. Spears is a speaker, author, prophetic singer, and song writer, that serves as worship leader at EILM. Her passion is to teach others, specifically women, how to live the “best” life that God predestined them to live. Currently Shelia is working to develop a non-profit organization, Girlz Rock, which is geared toward teaching girls and young women entrepreneurship and how to turn their God-given passion into purpose and their purpose into profit. Dr. Joseph and Pastor Shelia believe that spiritual fitness is the solution. It is their goal to see diverse individuals coming together from all walks of life, regardless of race, denomination or economic status to live the life God ordained. They both understand the need and importance of spiritually, socially and economically developing families and communities. Together they have four children. Two in Heaven and two on the earth. When they’re not ministering they enjoy spending family fitness time with Jaaziah and Jonathan.
