In an effort to bolster and expand the dialogue about the role education plays in the lives of all Americans, we created Living Education eMagazine. It is our goal to introduce readers to the various ways education is inseparably linked to our everyday lives. Through an exploration and examination of all educational issues relevant to parents, students, educators and political leaders, Living Education eMagazine aspires to be a key component in re-defining the social, economic, and workforce benefits associated with an educated society.

2019 Graduation Messages

Dr. Roland Nuñez @GoodTimesRoland is currently the Director of Operations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s South Florida campuses. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Meteorology, Master’s and PhD in Educational Leadership, and is in the process of finishing an MBA.
Roland has a multitude of interests that he has incorporated into his career and lifestyle. He previously worked as the Director of Student Development at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. During this time, he also opened and managed a family recreation center. He was actively involved in the community and started a popular podcast covering local community news. Other projects included a published mystery novel series, a college advice website, and a children’s book. I on Oklahoma Magazine named Roland as a 30 Under 30 s and create something new. Roland is happily married to his wife, Jasmine Nuñez, and together they rescued and currently raise three cats, two dogs, and an African tortoise. |

Dr. Dawn Lindsay @AACC_DrLindsay is the sixth president of Anne Arundel Community College
Lindsay has dedicated over 29 years to the community college system. She leads utilizing the philosophy of servitude leadership and believes the foundation for this leadership style requires a strong ethical platform, transparent decision making; the ability to develop collaborative relationships that are mutually beneficial, a commitment to shared governance and an institutional commitment to student success. She is an active advocate, representing the needs, values and importance of the community college system at the local, state and national levels. Her unique and diverse background provides a multifaceted understanding of the needs of various stakeholders. She believes in open access, quality and diverse educational offerings and the need to build bridges among, and between, internal and external constituents. |
