Dr. Marrix SeymoreDr. Seymore is an advocate of self-improvement at any age, in any situation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Administration Leadership, respectively from Prairie View A&M University of Texas. Rev. Seymore also earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University of Arizona. His dissertation topic was, “The Impact of a Pastor’s Education on the Growth of a CME Church.”

Dr. Seymore has worked in educational organizations and institutions in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, and California. His aim was to improve the environment where teaching and learning takes place. His educational aim was to use "lessons learned from the trenches" to develop and support current teachers and administrators. Recently, Dr. Seymore convened his experiences to higher education. He is a Professor of Education at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Seymore is the director of The Academy for Men of Color in Education. This program aims to attract, support and graduate employable young men with urban school systems throughout the country.

Dr. Seymore is a former pastor, Western Regional Dean of Leadership Development, and Director of Christian Education for the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a leadership coach, strategic planning facilitator, ministry evaluator. Dr. Seymore is the founder of MoreSey & Associates, consulting firm with Christian values targeting the market place with a mission to develop communities and organizations to operate at their optimal best through a variety of proven tools and methods designed to result in successful outcomes. Dr. Seymore is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society for educators; the 100 Black Men of the America; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporate, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Dr. Seymore is a proud father of two adult sons, Marrix II and Johnston Alexander Seymore. He lives by the mission of being an ambassador of vision; uniquely molded to glorify God, equipped to edify His people, and commanded to empower them to further the Kingdom of God. He executes this mission based on Habakkuk 2:2 “Write the vision and make it plain!”
