Dr. Michael Robinson, the host of The Yard, was joined by Ahira Smith. Ahira is a 4th generation graduate of Kentucky State University. Ahira earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (K-12) in 2000. While attending KSU, she joined ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY INCORPORATED (Eta Alpha Chapter).

Ahira Smith (Her/She) is known as The Grief Mending Coach and Owner of From Grief to Life. She dives into the arena of grief and loss that helps others navigate their journey, move towards healing, and return to living in the [present] moment. Stepping away from a 15+ year career in higher education, Ahira decided to assist those processing their emotions with the authority of using education and the personal experience necessary to lead with love, compassion, and empathy. Ahira is a 4th Generation Alum and a graduate of The Kentucky State University (in 2000) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education (K-12) and is a member of ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY INCORPORATED (Eta Alpha Chapter).
