Dr. Michael Robinson, the host of The Yard, was joined by Shapelle Lilly Pisano, a 2007 graduate of Kentucky State University. Shapelle shares how her time at Kentucky State University was unforgettable and foundational in many aspects of her life. She also shared her views on the values of Experience, Financial Stewardship, Transparency, and Growth to be an effective fiscal steward of alumni donations and funds.

Shapelle Lilly Pisano, C.P.A. Shapelle is a proud 2007 graduate of Kentucky State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance. While at Kentucky State, she participated in several organizations, including S.G.A. as Executive Board Treasurer, D.A.T.R.A.P., Residence Life as an R.A., Gospel Ensemble, and Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society. Shapelle completed post-graduate studies earning a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2008.
Shapelle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and serves as the Director of S.E.C. and Financial Reporting at GameStop, a publicly held gaming, entertainment product, and technology retailer. In her role, she leads the company’s global accounting consolidations and all financial reporting with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. During her professional career as an accountant over the past 15 years.
