Part 4
Parent Talk Live
Exclusive interview
Demetrius Deal
Former Prince George's County Public Schools Head Start Family Service Coordinator
claims she was terminated for defending a parent of an abused child
is is part four of an exclusive Forest Of The Rain Productions interview with Ms. Demetrius Deal, former Prince George's County Public Schools Head Start Family Services Coordinator. She agreed to discuss her claims, she was terminated for defending a parent of an abused child and her comments about a "cover-up" related to child abuse and neglect within Prince George's County Public Schools Head Start program.
According to Ms. Deal, the abused 3-year-old child was forced to mop up his urine as punishment for soiling his clothes during nap time. The county's public schools system and board of education were notified that the Head Start grant worth 6.5 million was terminated due to failure to "timely correct one or more deficiencies," a spokesperson said.
FOTRP: Ms. Deal, do you any final statements or comments you would like to share with the readers?
Ms. Deal: Yes! If there wasn't a cover-up, can someone from the School Board answer the following line of questioning:
Why after reading the initial Outcome Finding Report, the parent of the victim sent an email, dated March 8, 2016, to the Program Supervisor of Head Start, the Coordinating Supervisor of Early Childhood Programs and the Office of Head Start, stating the following: “The principal was almost omitted from the report,” as if she wasn’t involved.” As result, the parent of the victim requested a formal meeting to ensure an accurate timeline would be submitted to The Office Of Head Start, per the Fed’s request?

- Why was the parent of the victim who was the Chair of Policy Council to the Board of Education for Head Start was not allowed to view the timeline written by the Area I Instructor before the submission to the Office of Head Start, even though she was the Chair of Policy Council and it was her right to review it?
- Why on April 3, 2016, I had to contact Employee Wellness to request psychological services because I felt I was under attack, at the hands of the Program Supervisor?
