Biography – Dannine Johnson
A product of New Orleans public schools, Dannine Johnson studied computer systems engineering at Howard University where she received her degree. After graduating, she worked in the private sector for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Northrop Grumman, and Anteon Corporation as a system administrator and network engineer. She eventually went into public service to work for the Federal government. Her entire Federal service career has been with the Department of Health and Human Service, where she spent her first ten years with the Office of Inspector General.
A proponent of public education, Ms. Johnson volunteers as the PTSA president for Central High School in Forestville. A strong advocate for all children, she is a member of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Prince George’s County Volunteer Advisory Council (VAC) in which she also is the Chair for the Engagement and Fundraising Committee.
As a committed public servant, Dannine was served as a union chief steward and chapter vice president for the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU). She was elected as a National Vice President in 2019. A mother of two sons, Ms. Johnson lives by the fact that family comes first. She ensures her life is defined by her passion and love for her family which pours into passion for all children and helping people.
