A national HBCU recruiter and retention specialist, he has taught at every level from collegiate to elementary school levels. He is a staunch advocate for increasing the salaries of all involved with educational and and vocational instruction. Teachers are underpaid, and Mitchell believes that a better educated society, inherently leads to a better society.
Fatherhood and mentors are included in his programs. Mitchell continues to place a value on "Holistic" healing. The head of the household must lead. Sometimes, he must be taught, because it was not given to him.
The researcher designs "faith-based initiatives, via public or private sources to provide educational and vocational opportunities for at-risk youth. He is also a national grant writer, purposed with "faith -based" initiatives that are purpose driven in "Holistically " healing training to restore our families and communities.
