Dr. Rinata Tanks currently works as a Central Office Administrator with the Office of School Support Networks in conjunction with the Office of Student Support and Safety. Prior to joining Baltimore City Public Schools, Dr. Tanks served as an Assistant Principal for Duval County Public Schools and functioned as a Special Education Lead Teacher for a number of years. Dr. Tanks currently holds a doctoral degree in Education Leadership with a dissertation focus on Multi-Component Intervention Strategies for Students with Disabilities from Nova Southeastern University, as well as, a Master of Science degree in Emotional Disturbances and Learning Disabilities; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology both from Florida State University.
