Dr. Mike Robinson: How did Men Making a Difference begin?
Andrew Brewer, Jr.: What started out as a picnic, slowly evolved into a movement that impacted our city so much that we are now committed to bring success and an outlet for our youth. So as MEN, we created M.M.A.D. There is an outrage with single mothers and incarcerated parents in our community that need assistance with the everyday struggles of raising our children. Therefore, our organization is committed to working on solutions; so that, we can create a successful outcome for their future by encouraging increase family activities and encouraging positive fatherhood and family volunteerism in our community.
