Forest of the Rain Productions owns and operates a 24 hour Internet radio station designed to provide a pathway for the seldom heard voices in American education. The Journey Begins, our 24 hour radio station is formatted to provide educational information and music entertainment to the engaged parent and dedicated educator. Our listening audience ranges from ages 18-65. We are heard all over the world.
We have targeted parents and educators by developing programming which include interviews with experts in areas such as: (a) Parental Engagement Strategies; (b) Male Engagement; (c) Bullying; (d) How to Prepare Your Student for Postsecondary Education; (e) The Role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities; (f) Leadership in Higher Education; and (g) The Importance of Community Colleges.
We have combined interviews with these seminal leaders with classic and contemporary music. Our music selection is similar to what is heard on TV music channels such as MTV, VH1, Music Choice and BET, except it is designed for a mature listening audience.
