FOTRP: What would you describe as the benefits of joining a fraternity or sorority?
Yvette Mack:The benefits of joining a fraternity or sorority are many and fulfilling. Such benefits include community service and the opportunity to develop lifelong friendships. Becoming a member of a Black Greek Letter Organization offers professional networking and contacts that can lead to employment opportunities. As a member of a BGLO there is a sense of belonging to something bigger. Members of these organizations learn new skills that enhance their leadership potential, while also developing self-esteem.
