@Pubhistorian I do think that the deal benefits Jay-Z. Why didn't Jay-Z. make it a part of the deal that Colin Kaepernick be brought back to the league if Kaepernick wants to be in the league. Given the zeitgeist the country and indeed the world is in, we have not moved past the protest. Those against Kaepernick kneeling did not want to understand the reason behind his nonviolent protest. I think all would be better if one team hired Kaepernick and as country supposedly bound by the principals of democracy celebrated one who believed in and put action behind his principals.
