Dr. Arathi Rao: As a cardiac Psychologist, I can certainly state that separating children from their parents is an extremely cruel, sadistic and Inhumane policy. It is a very traumatic experience for kids to be ripped from their parents and this will no doubt have long lasting negative effects on their emotional and physical health. and these kids are bound to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for many years to come.
